HOW IT WORKS

STEP 1: REGISTER

Register for Refill & Reuse by building your Refill Box! Choose from a selection of WasteNot Shop favorites including eco-friendly cleaning supplies and organic pantry staples. Customize your bundle to get just the right amount of each product.

STEP 2: RECEIVE

Receive your refill products alongside your regular WasteNot service day. All refill products come in sealed glass containers. Your orders are delivered by our friendly WasteNot service crew on your weekly or biweekly cycle via our electric fleet.

STEP 3: RETURN AND REFILL

Place empty containers in the Refill reusable bag to be collected on your next WasteNot service day, and receive your refilled products.

Used containers get sanitized and refilled for another delivery to complete the loop.

Program Basics

  • Simply place a pre-order on the WasteNot Shop. Add the products that you want to your bundle and check out. First deliveries will occur on regularly scheduled service dates starting the week of June 23rd.

  • Our Refill & Reuse program uses durable, reusable glass jars to ensure there is no waste created in the process. Empty jars are picked up with each service, sanitized, and put back into use for the next service.

    • Metropolis Coffee: Breakfast Blend, Xeno’s, Redline, La Cord, Spice Island

    • Metric Coffee: En Masse, Seismic 

    • Rotating Coffee Subscription:

    • Stellar Granola: OG, Cinnamon Toast, Golden Milk, S’mores

    • Meliora Laundry Powder: Unscented, LLC, Lav, Oxy Brightener

    • AlterEco Chocolates: Caramel, Dark, Mint

    • All Purpose Cleaner Tablets

    • Dishwasher Tablets

    • Liquid Dish Soap

    • Liquid Hand Soap

  • Of course! WasteNot will be consistently adding new products to the Refill & Reuse program. We will periodically send updates as new products are added. You can suggest your favorite products here.

  • No problem! Anytime prior to the Wednesday before your delivery, you will receive an email reminding you to make any updates to your refill bundle. You will always have the ability to add, remove, replace, or adjust the amount of each product. 

    • If you receive deliveries weekly, you will be charged weekly. 

    • If you receive deliveries biweekly (every two weeks), you will be charged biweekly.

DELIVERY DAY

  • Orders will be delivered on your regular service dates. Your first delivery will occur on your first service date on or after June 30th 

  • Deliveries will come as frequently as your current compost service. If you receive weekly compost service, deliveries will occur every week. If you receive biweekly compost service, deliveries will occur once every two weeks.

  • Products will be packaged in durable glass jars packed inside a WasteNot reusable delivery bag. Each jar will have a label indicating its contents. 

  • First Missed Return: On the first missed return, the Member's product(s) order will still be delivered by WasteNot. The missed return will be flagged by the operator providing the service and customer support will reach out to arrange for return of the missing jars and reusable bags. 

    Two or More Consecutive Missed Returns: After two or more consecutive missed returns, WasteNot will not deliver the Member’s product(s) and reach out to arrange the next service and sucesfful return of the reusable jars and bags. You can read our full T’s & C’s here.

CHANGES, SKIPS, & SWAPS

  • Yes, at any time you can skip an entire delivery and you will not be charged. You will need to make the skip request by the Wednesday the week prior to your delivery.

  • Yes, in your portal you will be able to skip deliveries of individual products. This is a great way to adjust as you figure out exactly how much you need of each product on each service. You will need to make the changes  on the Wednesday the week prior to your delivery. 

  • During the pre-order period and prior to your first delivery, just place another pre-order. We will combine your bundles prior to first delivery. After your first delivery, you will be able to make these changes at any time. You will need to make the changes by the Wednesday the week prior to your delivery.

  • No problem! During the pre-order period and prior to June 20th, go to your Shop Account page and use the self-service features to make changes. After the pre-order period you will be able to make these changes at any time.

  • Place a pre-order for the new products you want and our team will merge your current coffee subscription into the Refill & Reuse bundle. 

  • No problem! Anytime prior to the Wednesday before your delivery, you will receive an email reminding you to make any updates to your refill bundle. You will always have the ability to add, remove, replace, or adjust the amount of each product.
